Why Pink Army?

We need to fix the system. Developing one drug for millions of people makes sense for certain diseases. Not so much for cancer.

The current drug development model is outdated. The old pharmaceutical companies are ill equipped to adapt to these new technologies.

Right now the technology exists to develop a single drug for a single person.

This however rests on being able to share what we learn. Patents and intellectual property aren’t the right fit for this model.

While we’ll reward innovators, we won’t hide their work behind walls of lawyers. We need to share and reuse everything we learn if we’re serious about developing a cure.

Pink Army is one way to achieve all this. By being a coop, we’re certain to always have our priorities straight. By incorporating open source principles, we’ll be sure to share our technologies.
