There are numerous ways to connect.  The most significant is to become a member of the cooperative, which requires you to become a shareholder.  In this case, you purchase a share in the business.  Anyone can become a shareholder, although certain voting privileges are restricted to those 16 years of age or older.

Only one share is necessary to have full ownership.  Even the cooperative’s founders own just a single share.

Shares have a fixed value of $20.  They cannot be traded nor will their price change over time.  Should you choose to withdraw from the cooperative, your share will be repurchased for the same price you paid.
